Benefits
Benefits in cities
Green areas have an ecological purpose not only to
counteract pollution, but also to constitute recreation
and leisure areas; as well as constituting a form of
contact with nature. The urban population is growing
two to three times faster than the rural population

OMS opinion
The WHO (OMS in spanish) recommends universal
access to green spaces: there should be a green space
measuring at least 0.5 hectares at a straight line
distance of no more than 300 meters from each home.
Our results showed that 62% of the European
population lives in areas with less green space than
recommended.

PROBLEMS
PROBLEMS

● One of the problems of having too many plants in buildings is being able to maintain
them, since some plants require special care.
● Another problem is that most plants attract insects which tend to be annoying for
some people.
● The problem of humidity is important to consider because it can damage some
electronic equipment in addition to generating fungus in narrow places.
