1. SAFETY WARNINGS & SET-UP
Perform a thorough check of the kayak before use; do not use the kayak if it is damaged.

• Always wear a life jacket (personal flotation device).


• Do not use the kayak in adverse conditions.
• Do not take sharp objects onto the kayak.
• Take care of sharp objects, such as coral and debris below the surface and on the bank.
• Do not tow the kayak with a watercraft.
• Do not over-inflate or under-inflate the kayak.
• If a puncture or leak occurs, return to the shore immediately.
• Do not use the kayak if you cannot swim.
• Never use the kayak alone.
• Do not use in the presence of strong winds or currents.
• Do not use the kayak in waves higher than 0.3m.
• This kayak is not intended to be used by children under the age of 14. In addition to this, adults with
reduced physical or mental capabilities, or those who are under the influence of drugs or alcohol should
not use the kayak.
• Do not exceed a distance greater than 150m from land.
• The maximum weight rating of the inflated kayak is 180kg.
• It is your responsibility to follow relevant local, state and federal regulations. These regulations may
include but are not limited to: life jackets and other safety equipment; use of channels; and right of way
when passing other vessels. This will assist in ensuring your safety and avoiding fines.

HOW TO REPAIR SMALL PUNCTURES


Check that the tube is fully deflated and lies flat.
1. Prepare a round patch no less than 7 cm in diameter.
2. Clean the patch and the area surrounding the leak with alcohol.
3. To contain excess glue, use masking tape to tape off the area around the patch.
4. Apply 3 thin, even coats of a suitable marine grade PVC adhesive (not included) to both the surface of
the kayak and the patch. Wait 5 minutes between each coat.
5. After the 3rd coat, apply the patch on the defect surface. Use a hand roller to apply the patch evenly.
Pay special attention to the edges.
6. Wait 24 hours before re-inflating

WARRANTY
WARRANTY PERIOD:
Full 12 month warranty from date of purchase against all manufacturing defects.

WHAT DOES THE WARRANTY COVER?


Under normal usage conditions, this warranty covers:
a. Any defect in design or manufacture which results in the product failing to perform substantially as described
in authorised advertising or literature.
b. We will either repair or replace the product at our discretion providing that the fault is found to have been
caused by a design or manufacturing defect and not misuse or tampering.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are
entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably
foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be
of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. The benefits provided to you as the
consumer by this warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies available to you under the law.

THE WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:


a. Any damage resulting from improper use
b. Faulty installation or modification made during installation
c. The cost of removing and reinstalling the product
d. Travel and /or other expenses due to customer’s remote location
e. Transport charges and damage in transit. It is your responsibility to deliver and pick up your product,
including any costs associated with the postage of your repair or replacement product. If you do freight your
product we recommend that you insure against loss or damage.
f. Any loss directly or indirectly associated with the product failing to operate.
g. Damage caused by mould, insects, animals, misuse, incorrect operation, adverse weather, accidents
and fair wear and tear
