A total of 100 points for the assessment
It can be completed by yourself or with a partner

1) Choose what planet or moon you will choose (first come first receive)

2) Collect Research (these are required but if you find some more information you would
like to add you are more than welcome to)
● Size: Include information about the diameter and mass of the planet or moon.
● Distance from the Sun: Provide details on the average distance from the Sun in
astronomical units (AU) or kilometers.
● Surface Temperature: Discuss the average surface temperature, variations, and factors
influencing temperature.
● Atmosphere: Describe the composition of the atmosphere, if present, and its properties.
● Composition: Describe the materials and elements on the surface and interior.
● Orbital Period: Provide the time to complete one orbit around the Sun or its parent
planet.
● Orbital Eccentricity: Explain the shape of the orbit (circular, elliptical) and its implications.
● Moons: If applicable, list the names and characteristics of any moons orbiting the planet.
● Rings: If applicable, describe any ring systems and their composition.
● Notable Discoveries: Highlight significant discoveries, such as new moons, geological
features, or atmospheric phenomena.
3) Decide if you want to present to the class on slides or a poster
