Report On PM Vish, MANGAN
Publicity of the programme was made through E-mails sent to various Govt.
organizations, District Authorities, ULB, Block Level, Panchyat Leval etc. . The
programme was attended by Mr Sonam T. Tashi Bhutia DC, Mangan as Chief
guest, Zilla Panchayat from Shipger , Mr Kailas Thapa, BDO Mangan, and
Mr.R.D Lepcha, Divisional Engineer. Nirmal Chowdhury Assistant Director
(MSME –DFO, Gangtok), Ms Nisha Rani Assistant Director (MSME –DFO,
Gangtok) and over 102 participants from the district including representatives of
Banks, Zila and Panchyats, CSC, Seed cell, ULB and Artisan etc.
The Programme was started with welcome address given by Mrs. Nisha Rani,
Assistant Director ,MSME –DFO, Gangtok, who welcomed all Dignitaries on the
Dias and participants and felicitation all the dignitaries by offering traditional Khada,
flower bouquet & Shawl / Memento. After that Formal Inauguration has been done by
the lighting of Lamp by the Chief Guest, Special guest and all others Dignitaries and
apprised the house on Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) and its
components while delivering her welcome address also give brief information on PM
Vishwakarma Scheme and how to registered on the portal.
Shri Nirmal Chowdhury, Assistant Director, MSME –DFO, Gangtok
delivered his lecture about the programme and the importance of the programme.
He told that the central government especially MSME ministry has taken so many
initiatives for motivating the entrepreneurs. Various MSME Schemes has been
launched one of them is PM Vishwakarma and what are the scheme benefits and
also told about how to use PM Vishwakarma portal and how to registered yourself
on this portal. He appealed to the participants to come forward and take the
advantage of PM Vishwakarma schemes.
Addressing the seminar, Mr Sonam T. Tashi Bhutia, Chief guest briefed about the
scheme and asked the present artisans to pick up one trade from the 18 trades
available under the scheme. He also informed about its incentive of Rs 15000 and
collateral-free credit support to artisans. Further, he appealed to participants for the
maximum registration in PM Vishwakarma portal and GPU level officials were
asked to clarify all the doubts with regard to the registration process. He also
instructed the representative of the panchyats to on boarding more numbers of
artisans within their jurisdiction immediately to avail the benefits of th is scheme
and forward to the next level after authentic verification.
Zilla Panchayat from Shipger also addressed the participants of this programme
and motivated the participants to register through the PM Vishwakarma portal and
avail all benefits under the PM Vishwakarma scheme. And also motivated the
representative of Panchyats to register the maximum artisan under this scheme.
Mr Kailas Thapa, BDO Mangan, addressed the participants and motivate
panchyats and other participants work on this PM Vishwakarma Scheme on
priority basis.
The Inaugural session concluded with the vote of thanks by Nisha Rani, Assistant
Director, MSME –DFO, Gangtok.
