Course Description
This course introduces students to the basic concept of investment, overview of the securities market, and various
investment instruments for decision-making. It has eleven (11) chapters to be covered within 14 weeks which are
introduction to investment, securities markets, investment instruments, bond, preferred stock, common stock, stock
dividends, stock splits and stock rights, fundamental analysis, technical analysis, derivatives instruments, and unit trust.
