The Fox and The Grapes
The Fox and The Grapes
Again and again he tried, but in vain. Now he sat down and looked at
the grapes in disgust. "What a fool I am," he said.
"Here I am wearing myself out to get a bunch of sour grapes that are
not worth trying for."
We think he was trying to make himself feel better about not being able
to have the grapes.
What Would You Do?
Has there ever been a time when you wanted something that you
couldn't have?
For example, say your friend got an iPod for Christmas and you wanted
one so bad but you didn't get one.
Then to make yourself feel better maybe you said that your friend's iPod
was stupid and that you would rather have an iPhone any day...
...instead we should always try and be thankful for what we have and be
happy for other people when good things happen to them.
