TOPIC : TIME MANAGEMENT

1.0 FOCUSED ISSUE

The focused issue of this week is time management.

2.0 ANALYSIS

Involving this issue, time management is very crucial during the periods of
teaching and learning. Throughout my lessons for this week, although I have
estimated the time for every stage, still I always have problem closing my lesson
because students always could not finish the task on time. Its either the tasks
provided were too much or I was not aware of the difficulties of the tasks prepared
that they could not finish within time. On 22 nd of January, I was observed by my
mentor teacher for writing class. The students seemed to have fun during the lesson
and objectives were achieved. Just the problem was I didn’t close my lesson. Thus,
my mentor teacher shared the ways I can use to close my lesson. It is because by
hook or crook, the lesson must or should be summarized and closed properly.
Otherwise, the lesson wouldn’t be as effective.

3.0 SUGGESTIONS FOR IMPROVEMENTS

In order to cope with the issue of time management, there are courses of actions and
several ways that can be done:
 My time management should be improved. I should follow the time I have estimated
for every stage and make sure the activities I prepared are relevant to be done within
time.

5.0 REFLECTION

In conclusion, time management is very crucial in calling one’s lesson plan a

success. Good time management shows the credibility the teacher possesses to
control the journey of the lesson according to what have been planned. Hence, I will
work hard to enhance more on my time management skills by learning the proper
techniques and skills in order to have a smooth teaching and learning sessions for
both students and the teacher.
