Sir,
I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding an incident of unlawful action taken against my
Vehicle. On19-02-2024, at approximately 9:45 PM, my vehicle, Volkswagen, Vento (TN 01 AU 0797), was
illegally locked by the apartment security officer, Mr. Ruban, under the instruction of the office staff Mr.
Aravind, they illegally locked my car and made threatening remarks asserting their supposed right to
do so.
The incident occurred at Jains Sunderbans Apartment Block 16, where I am a resident. Another vehicle
was parked at the entrance of my parking and there was no one inside the car because of this I had to
use the visitors parking area, Next day morning 20-02-2024 8:15 AM when I came back I saw my vehicle
was unlawfully locked without any prior warning or notification. I was taken by surprise and deeply
concerned by this unauthorized action.
Upon inquiring about the reason for locking my vehicle, I was informed that it was done under the
instruction of the office staff, Mr.Aravind. This action is unacceptable and constitutes a violation of my
Mr.Ruban denied to unlock my car and made me wait for 45 minutes on 20-02-2024, then I was forced
to hire another vehicle to commute to my work place. That evening by 5:00PM when I raised this matter
to the association office staff The behaviour exhibited by them was completely unacceptable and has
caused me significant distress and inconvenience. Not only is the act of illegally locking someone's car
a violation of personal property rights, but the threatening statements made by them further
exacerbated the situation. I would like to emphasize that such actions are not only morally reprehensible
but also potentially illegal. Threats and intimidation have no place in civil society and should not be
I would like to highlight that there were no legal grounds for locking my vehicle. I had complied with all
parking regulations and had not violated any rules or regulations of the apartment complex. Therefore,
the decision to lock my vehicle was unjustified and arbitrary.
I wish to highlight that clamping a vehicle without valid reason or proper authorization is a breach of
legal and ethical standards. The actions of Security Officer Ruben and the oversight of Mr. Aravind
demonstrate a blatant disregard for established protocols and disregard for the rights of individuals.
I urge the police department to investigate this matter thoroughly and take appropriate action against
those responsible for this unlawful act. I request that Mr. Aravind and Security Officer Mr.Ruban to be
I trust that the police department will take this matter seriously and ensure that justice is served. I look
