Incidence History:
On Friday, May 20, 2022 when I was on my way out with my wife from my residence at Al Nasr
Palace-Oud Maitha to NBD Bank-Oud Maitha branch, I experienced a rash driver while I was changing
the lane to my left side with the left Indicator of my vehicle switched on. This incidence happened
below Oud Maitha Metro Station on a three-lane road towards Indian High school & ahead. The driver
passed through, approximately 25 % space left in my lane besides my vehicle & some part of the left
lane adjacent to the divider. This happened when the left lane adjacent to the divider was completely
open for him to drive in. While doing so he brushed his car on the back-left mudguard area of my
vehicle.
After sensing the accident, I thought that he would halt further at some nearby place but rather than
doing so, he kept on driving further, which left no choice for me but to follow him with the only
purpose of getting his vehicle number & forward it to Dubai Police. I followed him by adhering to all
the Dubai-UAE traffic rules strictly. He was visible to me from a certain distance due to much less
traffic on the road at that time & on that day. The sole purpose to follow him was to get his vehicle
number and forward it to Dubai Police & nothing else.
Coincidentally, he was travelling ahead of me on the same path as of mine. As I was driving, my wife
recorded his vehicle's number on a piece of paper when he slowed down at the roundabout located at
just before the bus stop near & in front of American Hospital. He tried to approach us at the roundabout
but considering that it is not the right place for discussion, we requested him to come at the mentioned
bus stop herein. Accordingly, he stalled his vehicle at a rear end of the carved out bus stop near & in
front of American Hospital. Seeing he stalled his vehicle, I also stalled my vehicle at the front end of
the same carved out bus stop.
I waited on the bus stop patiently anticipating collective dialog and then contacting police. However,
when we noticed that no dialogs were happening for a while & as;
1. Waiting on the bus stop for long duration is punishable.
2. Both the parties had already left the actual accident spot.
3. We already had his vehicle number.
4. We were getting late for our pre-decided schedule of visiting NBD Bank-Oud Metha branch,
picking up my son from the school & the Rashid Hospital OPD Walk-in appointment. &
5. Considering that, after finishing medical appointment of my son we will go to police station
directly & report the incidence against his vehicle number.
I left the bus stop with my left indicator continuously switched on.
At this time he came from behind with a great speed & tried to sneak through the space left between
the left side of my vehicle & a divider on a two lane road towards Saravana Bhavan Restaurant Signal
and in that process he again hit my vehicle at rear left side & corner.
After this incidence while my wife was busy with contacting Police on 999 at 10:18 am from the
accident spot & I was engaged in downloading Dubai Police APP & clicking the photographs of the
accident for Police records. The driver of the vehicle no. Q 31213 (Dubai) moved away from the
accident spot & disappeared without having any dialogue with us or mutual consent.
Then at 11:01 am, my wife received a call from Bur Dubai police Station but after understanding the
accident location through dialog, Bur Dubai police asked her to report the incidence to Al Raffa Police
station. As per their suggestion, we reached Al Raffa Police station at around 12:47 pm but considering
the non-availability of the other person, again the officer there asked us to report the incidence on
Dubai Police App. Officer at Al Raffa Police station gave us the mobile number of the car owner of
vehicle no. Q 31213 (Dubai) & asked us to contact him to resolve the matter.

Thereafter, we called the owner of vehicle number vehicle no. Q 31213 (Dubai) at 13:09 pm & later
communicated on the WhatsApp. The WhatsApp communication trail between us has been attached
with this letter.
After a communication gap of about, 4.5 days he approached Al Raffa Police station on Thursday, 26
May 2022 in our absence & without our knowledge & filed a Criminal Case against me (The driver).
(Charges Unknown till date) On the same day Al Raffa Police officer called me & recorded my
statement about these incidents. My verbal statement to the Police officer at Al Raffa police station is
same as above. At Al Raffa police station, I signed on two onscreen statements, which were in Arabic
(a language, which is not known to me, either read, write & speak). Thereafter, I received a message
on my mobile number at 13:29 pm saying that “The Criminal case has been successfully registered,

General Note:
1) On Friday, May 20, 2022 as planned before we could not visit NBD Bank-Oud Maitha branch
due to this incidence. As we had to pick up our son from the school on time & proceed, further
to arrange a walk in appointment at Rashid Hospital OPD for him.
2) Kindly note that I am neither a rash nor a bully driver since I got my Dubai Driving license on
6TH May 2008

General Concerns:
1) Why the complainant skipped from both the accident spots without either complaining on
Dubai Police App from the accident spot, mutual consent or Police spot visit.
2) Why the complainant took seven days to file a criminal complaint against me? (20 Th May to
26Th May) after both the incidences.
3) When we (my wife & me) were trying to report both the incidents using Dubai Police App,
Why was he reluctant to share the required details with us on WhatsApp despite repetitive
requests?
4) Why did he not call the police when he felt that I was “allegedly” following him?
5) It has understood that the complainant has recorded Video of the incidence at American
Hospital.
a) If so, kindly note that, he did not intimate me before recording Video of the incidence.
b) It raises doubt about his malicious intention. Had he planned the incidence & so
prepared for recording it?
c) The recording instrument & the manner in which he has recorded is very important.
d) The proof of date of purchasing & fixing of recording instruments in his car involved
in this incidence.
e) If the video recording instrument is other than, Dashcam or Mobile phone car phone
holder fixed to the windshield or Dashboard then it is a serious matter of concern.
f) Rather than recording Video why, he did not call the Police on the spot (at American
Hospital) & complained about me to them before the incident happen.

Pre-planned Malicious Intention of the Complainant in sequence:
Firstly stalling his vehicle at a rear end of the carved out bus stop & forcing me to stall my vehicle at
the front end of the same carved out bus stop (ahead of him) ==> Preparing himself for the video
recording ==> waiting for me to leave the Bus stop ==> coming from behind with a great speed & try
to sneak through the space left between the left side of my vehicle & a divider on a two lane road ==>

dragging me in to the incident ==> projecting me as a culprit & protecting himself from the first
incident happened under Oud Maitha Metro Station (may be a hit & run case)
