Big Sing Workshop

Tockington Manor Performance Choir had a real treat in store when they visited St Marys Church, Thornbury on the morning of Thursday 10th November to participate in a Big Sing Workshop hosted by Robert Latham, renowned Choir Director. After a fun warm-up song the children from seven local schools entertained each other singing a variety of pieces. Tockingtons Panis Angelicus sounded really beautiful in the church and received excellent comments from Mr Latham. All in all it was a thoroughly enjoyable morning with plenty of tips and ideas to improve choral skills and a wonderful opportunity to hear other schools in our area. The children were, as always, brilliantly behaved and looked incredibly smart. Well done to all those involved. Mrs Warn
