▪ Registration under district administration
▪ Eligibility conditions:
▪ Completed 14 years of age [16 years of age or such age as may
be prescribed by the Central Government]
▪ Self-declaration confirming that he/she is an unorganized
worker

▪ Every eligible unorganised worker, gig worker or platform


worker shall make an application for registration in such
form along with such documents including Aadhaar number
REGISTRATION as may be prescribed by the Central Government and such
worker shall be assigned a distinguishable number to his
application:
▪ Provided that the system of electronic registration
maintained by the appropriate Government shall also
provide for self registration by any such worker in such
manner as may be prescribed by the Central Government.
▪ Issued an UIN card
▪ Record-keeping – electronically or otherwise
▪ Tollfree call centre/ helpline/ facilitation centres
(a) to disseminate information on available social security
schemes for the unorganised workers, gig workers and
NEW platform workers;

PROVISIONS (b) to facilitate filing, processing and forwarding of


application forms for registration of unorganised workers,
UNDER THE gig workers and platform workers;

CODE (c) to assist unorganised workers, gig workers and platform


workers to obtain registration; and
(d) to facilitate the enrolment of the registered unorganised
workers, gig workers and platform workers in the social
security schemes.
