AGREEMENT FOR SALE OF LAND ADDENDUM

THIS AGREEMENT ADDENDUM is made on the ……………. Day of …………………………2024

BETWEEN CAROLINE NAISAE SANKAN of ID NO. 21021371 of Post Office Box Number 1290-

20500 NAROK hereinafter called the Vendor which expression shall where the context so admits

include her successors and assigns of the one part and PATRICK ONSONGO JULIUS of ID NO.

25537817 and PACIFICA JEMELI of ID NO. 28688487 all of Post Office Box Number 523-30300

KAPSABET hereinafter called the Purchasers which expression shall where the context so admits

include their successors and assigns of the other part.

This Addendum is attached to and made part of the agreement for sale of land dated 3RD DAY OF

OCTOBER 2023.

THE PARTIES HEREBY MUTUALLY AGREE TO AMMEND THE AGREEMENT FOR SALE OF LAND
AS FOLLOWS;
1. The purchasers shall upon execution of this addendum agreement pay Kenya Shillings Five
Hundred Thousand Only (KShs. 500,000/-) to Agricultural Finance Corporation herein the
Chargor to reduce the loan balance the Vendor owes to the Chargor.

2. The Balance of the Purchase price for the property of Kenya Shillings Six Million, Three
Hundred Thousand Only (KShs. 6,300,000/-) shall be financed by the Purchaser’s financier.

3. That upon the Purchasers paying the Kenya Shillings Five Hundred Thousand Only (KShs.
500,000/-) to the chargor, the Purchaser shall issue to the tenant in occupation of the
property to vacate by 31st March 2024. The purchasers will be at liberty to take possession
and deal with the property from 1st April 2024.
4. That if by 30th April 2024 the Purchaser’s financier will not have finalized the mortgage
process, the Vendor will be at liberty to sell the property to another buyer and refund the
Purchasers Kenya Shillings Five Hundred Thousand Only (KShs. 500,000/-) paid to the
chargor.

Except as set forth in this Addendum, all other terms and conditions of the sale agreement dated
3RD OCTOBER 2023 remain unchanged and shall continue in full force and effect.

This Addendum may be executed in one or more counterparts, each of which shall be deemed an
original and all of which together, shall constitute one and the same document.

IN WITNESS whereof the addendum has been duly executed by and/or on behalf of the parties
hereto the day and year first hereinbefore written.
