1. General question
- Can you please share with us about your management role at PwC? How long did you
work at PwC?
- Can you please share with us a little bit about your team at PwC? (Number of
employees, department, diversity (age, gender, nationality, background))
- According to our research the employee turnover rate in the audit sector is always very
high. Is it true in your experience? Why is that? What is the percentage of employee
turnover at PwC?
- What difficulties did you experience while managing people in such a high turnover rate
environment? How did you manage these difficulties?

2. Research question 1: Career development


- In terms of career development at PwC, could you please share what a career path looks
like?
- According to recent research, a straight-forward career development affects the
employees’ intrinsic motivation, to what extent do you think it influences the motivation
of your employees?
- Are there any disadvantages to this straightforward career path? For example, after 5
years, the employee with a manager role will leave the company for a higher salary.
- According to you, can this career path be optimized to retain employees?

3. Research question 2: Working conditions (stress + work-life balance)


- In terms of work-life balance, what is the work condition within PwC in terms of your
own experience? How do you manage your employees, and keep them motivated during
such an environment?
- Can you share your perspectives about how work-life balance can increase job
satisfaction and reduce employee turnover rate? And how?
- How is this difference in motivating employees from Gen Z and others in terms of
working conditions? Do you think there’s a big difference between them?
- Have you ever experienced some moment in time when your employee wanted to quit
and asked for your advice related to working conditions? How have you dealt with and
motivated your employees to stay?

- What are the reasons for you to stay at PwC for 10 years? In terms of working conditions
and career development?
- When you attempted to leave, did your leader try to persuade you to stay? If yes, how did
he do that? Is this related to work-life balance or career development?
- What other factors do you think are the motivation factor for you to stay in this auditing
field?
