CED 101.The Child and Adolescence Learners and Learning Principles


Based on your understanding explain the 3 domains of human development
namely biological, cognitive, socio-emotional.

1. Physical/Biological
The physical or biological development simply talks about how
the body grows and changes from being an infant to an adult stage.
This also involves the growth of the brain, senses, and any other
physical growth happening in someone’s body. Physical growth differs
depending on the gender, health, and environment of the person.

2. Cognitive
When it comes to the cognitive aspect of human development,
learning, creativity, language and thinking are involve. It also talks
about how a person thinks, and remember things. In conclusion,
cognitive domain simply talks about the mental processes happening
on a person.
3. Socio-Emotional
Socio–emotional domain in human development is how a person
thinks while socializing with other people. This also involves on what
they think of themselves, who they really are, what they really want,
and what they are expecting when talking or socializing with other
people.
