Directions:

1. As a student, what does Marketing means to you? Based on your observations and your
own experience in marketing what relationship between customers and business and will
explain the effects of marketing on both.

Marketing is the process by which a company promotes the buying or selling of a product or
service. Advertising, selling, and distributing goods to customers or other companies are both
examples of marketing. Affiliates perform some marketing on behalf of a company. Marketing is
related to the glamorous side of industry. It is the process of generating interest in your goods and
services among potential clients or customers. "Process" is the key word in this description.
Marketing entails conducting market research, marketing, selling, and disseminating your goods or
services.

2. Identify the Marketing Mix and its use in Marketing. Give at least one (2) examples each.

The marketing mix refers to the set of actions, or tactics, that a company uses to promote its
brand or product in the market. The marketing mix is an acronym that encompasses 7Ps
(Product, Place, Price, Promotion, Physical Evidence, People, and Processes) The 4Cs
(Clarity, Credibility, Consistency, Competitiveness) is most often used in marketing
communications .
