Job Role & Summary

A project estimator must have all the information and knowledge that he/she is
working with or working on. Professional responsibility is to accumulate the total
cost of that is associated with the project and the development of the ultimate
product. A project estimator serves as an important part of the growth of a
company. He/she has to get the briefing form the project manager and
incoordination, with the project manager, the project estimator needs to work
accordingly.
Duties and Responsibilities

 He/she prepares the work by gathering all the documents, such as blueprints,
proposals, and other related documents.
 He/She computes the cost of labor, material, and time requirements.
 He/She develops reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing the
gathered information.
 He/she should be able to maintain technical knowledge by attending meetings,
workshops, reviewing technical publications, and conferences.
 He/she must be able to resolve discrepancies by collecting and analyzing
information.

Skills

 He/she is capable of analyzing information.

 He/she is capable of estimating, planning, and reporting research results.
 He/she is detail-oriented and hence can give attention to details.
 He/she is good with requirement analysis.

Qualifications

 Must a bachelor’s degree in any related field.

 Must have internship experience and proper professional certification.
 Work experience of at least 2 years is mandatory.
