In this composition I'm going to talk about the 60s.

The information Im going

write about is the old jobs that don’t exist anymore in the actuality, styles of
clothes that people used to wear back then, how education was before and for
last, an important social event in the 60s: famous actors and films made and
premiered in the 60s.

A. There’s a lot of jobs in the past that used to be very useful, however,
most of these jobs have disappeared with the time, mainly because we
develop in all the ways very fast, as humans, so it’s normal that we
progressively get rid of old works that can be perfectly replaced by the
news technology of the time. For example, the milkman, who had the
function of delivering bottles and jugs to the houses of the neighborhood
all the mornings. It was a very popular work, although it has already
practically disappeared. There also were the ice makers, who sawed
the ice of rivers or lakes and saved them during the winter.
Unfortunately, this job disappeared with the creation of refrigerators.
Lastly, there is the switchboard operator. It was the person who
managed the telephonic calls from the switchboard. It disappeared
because of new technologies.
B. So, the 60s was a very important date for fashion. In that time, there
were a lot of problems that probably we do not have now, there was still
a big repression against women and racist, in addition, it was a postwar
era, so many people were mad and protesting. However, even if it was
a difficult time, people managed to protest about their issues, and we
can see it through the way of dressing of people in that time. The hippie
movement, the baby-boom and the triumph of rock and roll were big
factors in the fashion, moreover, the mini skirt also was invented in the
60s. The most important things about fashion were the vibrant colors,
the shorts skirts, the comfort of the clothes and the reinvention of
the silhouette.
C. For how the school was back then, I'm going to talk about the school in
Spain, cause it would be more difficult to talk in general. In the morning
schedule, the school was from 10am to 1pm, and in the afternoon it was
from 3pm to 5pm. There was also class on Saturdays and on Thursday
afternoon there was a rest. It was, in total, 28 hours of school.
Nevertheless, even if it sounds a lot, it was actually a decent time for
school. The kids could have free time to play and have fun.
Moreover, there wasn’t a lot of homework, so the kids hadn’t the
charge we have now with them. Basically, the teachers were especially
attentive to teach to write correctly and with good calligraphy and
know math, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
D. For last, I'm just going to go quickly naming some important actors of
the 60s and some famous movies.
