I will pre-assess the students’ knowledge of main idea and cultural aspects of a read aloud by having the students fill in a worksheet where they will draw the
sequence of events that happened in the story. This would allow me to see if the students understood what was happening in the story as well as if they would be
able to apply the story to our following activity.
