Aim:

Case study on Amazon EC2 and learn about Amazon EC2 web services.

Process:

Step 01:

Login to your AWS account and click on the services tab on top left
Step 02:

Here, you will see all of the AWS Services categorized as per their area viz. Compute,

Storage, Database, etc. For creating an EC2 instance, we have to choose Compute EC2 as in the
next step

Step 03:

Select your region at top right corner

Step 04:

Go back to EC2 dashboard and click on Launch Instance

Step 05:

Enter name of the instance and select the OS that you are using
Step 06:

Create a key pair for the instance

Step 07:

Launch the instance

Step 08:

Go to instances and you can see your instance created there. Refresh the Instances using refresh
button at the top beside connect. After refreshing the instance will, be in running state.
Step 09:

Connect the instance and click on RDP Client

Step 10:

Click on get password

Step 11:

Upload the key pair in order to decrypt the password

Step 12:

Copy the password created and download the remote desktop file
Step 13:

Open the downloaded file and enter the copied password.
