⭐Cotton Setup Guide⭐

Hi and thanks for purchasing my model :) If you have any questions please
reach out on the Discord discord.gg/vdpzjuvnvb

🔴Note; This guide is not a substance painter tutorial! If you need help there,
there are loads of YouTube tutorials for it. Natch Deux has a nice one

💻PC Setup💻
1. Launch VRChat Creator Companion and create a new Avatar project
2. Open the project

3. Import
a. Poiyomi Toon Shader 8.1 https://github.com/poiyomi/PoiyomiToonShader
b. VRCFury https://vrcfury.com/ (I recommend using the VCC installation method)
c. Cotton PC package (drag unitypackage file into the Project area and import
everything that pops up). This will take a few minutes!
4. You can now either use one of the preset avatars in the scene, or create your own
using the module installation system;
a. On the top toolbar, click Lorcans Avatars > Module Installer
b. You can install/remove the features you want

🎨
🎨
5. Export your textures into the respective paths listed here ( Substance Painter
Export Paths (After setting up unity project!) )
6. Open the VRChat SDK control panel, log in, and upload your avatar :)
📱Quest Setup📱
1. Follow steps 1-7 from the PC setup (using the Cotton Quest package instead of the
PC one)
2. If you have already uploaded your PC version of the avatar we will want to apply
existing avatar ID to the quest model before uploading
a. Open the ‘Content Manager’ tab in the control panel, find your PC avatar, and
‘Copy ID’

b. Then select your avatar in the scene

In the inspector tab, find the Blueprint ID, paste into it and click Attach
3. Open the VRChat SDK control panel again and build.. If you have correctly attached
the PC avatar ID, the avatar details should already be filled in
