❖ Important formulae
1. Cuboid
❖ Let length= l, breadth= b, height= h units. Then,
i. Volume= l × b × h cubic units
ii. Surface area = 2(lb + bh + lh) square units
iii. Diagonal = l2 + b 2 + h2 units

2. Cube
❖ Let each edge of a cube is of length a. Then
i. Volume= a3
ii. Surface area = 6a2
iii. Diagonal = 3a
3. Cylinder
❖ Let radius of base =r, height or length = h. then,
i. Volume =πr 2 h
ii. Curved surface area= 2πrh
iii. Total surface area = 2πrh + 2πr 2

4. Cone
❖ Let radius of base =r, height or length = h. then,
i. Slant height, l = h2 + r 2

5. Sphere
