Helen Pugh, Manager

Helen has a Foundation Degree in Early Years, Level 4 in Childcare management and a
BTEC National Diploma in Childhood Studies (Nursery Nursing). Previous to working
at Prime Time, Helen worked in a baby unit and nursery in Sandbanks, a nursery
school and out of school club in Swanage and as a children’s Nanny. Helen is also our
Designated Safeguarding Lead with a level 3 in child protection, one of our Paediatric
First Aiders, the lead for SENCO (Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator), Equality
officer and Data Protection Lead. Helen also holds a food hygiene certificate. Helen
recently completed level 1 and 2 in ECDL (European computer driving licence) to
support her office work in running Prime Time. Helen is a keyworker to children in
the Early Years Curriculum.
Jo Monks, Deputy Manager
Jo has a level 2 and 3 in Childcare and Education. Previous to Prime Time she was
studying and working as a classroom assistant. Jo has worked her way up over the
years into her position. Jo is also Deputy Safeguarding Lead, holding a level 3 in child
protection training, a Paediatric First Aid certificate where she manages stock
controls and food hygiene. Jo takes an active and creative role in the planning for the
children’s activities and education alongside Helen, Our Manager and as a keyworker
to children in the Early Years Curriculum.
Sally Brookes, Lead Assistant
Sally has a level 2 and 3 in Childcare and Education as well as a certificate in Pre-
School Practice. Previous to Prime Time Sally has worked as a childminder, pre-school
assistant and classroom assistant. Sally has a level 3 safeguarding qualification, food
hygiene and a Paediatric First Aid certificate. Sally works as an assistant at Prime
Time with the ability to lead sessions as required in the absence of the Manager and
Deputy. Sally takes an active part in the planning process and improvement ideas for
the setting.
Ellie Holdcroft , Assistant
Ellie started work with us during her final year at college, where she completed a
level 3 in Early Years Education. She also has a level 2 in safeguarding children. She
has recently completed her teaching training and is currently working within schools
supply teaching. Ellie works with us in school holidays.
Julie Lee, Assistant
Julie works with us in school holidays and holds a level 3 in teaching assistants.
She works term time in a local primary school as the school ELSA and a teaching
assistant, therefore offering lots of support to childrens emotional well-being and she
has a wealth of qualifications and experience in her field.
