Teaching activities play a very important role in this practicum. The objective of this activity is to teach
a class that will be observed by your advisor and cooperating teacher to get some formative feedback
that can be used to improve or strengthen your current and future practices.
This activity will be graded by following the following criteria:

The student shares the lesson plan in advance
with partners, advisor, and the cooperating
teacher, so some adjustments can be made if
necessary.

10 points: Layout of the lesson plan In the folder I just saw the pictures you 3 /10
used. There isn’t a lesson plan.
The layout of the lesson plan clearly shows all
the necessary information for the advisor to
know what is going to happen in the class.

20 points: The class
Activities planned are appropriately sequenced
and paced to meet the objective(s) of the
lesson. Interaction between teacher and
students demonstrates good classroom
management and knowledge of what is being
taught.
It was good to write the agenda on the 19/20
board, so students knew what they
would do but the objective was not so
clear. You tried different activities with
different topics but some connection
among the topics was missing.
Classroom management was great. I
think it is a well behaved group in
general.

10 points: Language use I could not see this in the lesson 8/10
planning. No difficulties with language
