TITLE : EXPENSIVE CLOTHES

1st SCENE :

Scene opens with DIN sitting at his desk, staring at the tuition fee invoice.
He checks his bank account and its clear that he does not have enough money
to cover the cost.

DIN
(to himself) How am I going to pay for this? I don’t have enough money.

Flashback to a few days earlier, DIN and JAL are sitting in JAL’s car
discussing their plans for eid.

2nd Scene

DIN
I cant wait for Eid. Man! Have you bought your Eid clothes yet?

JAL
Yeah I bought some clothes, but I didn’t go for anything fancy. I just
bought it from a normal brand.

DIN
Really? I thought you go for a famous brand. ( starts laughing ).

JAL remains quiet, but his disapproval is evident.

JAL
Actually, can we stop by a clothing store? I want to check out some Eid
outfits.

DIN
Yeah good idea. I wanted to buy a Eid outfit for me too.

3RD Scene

JAL drives to a nearby clothing store.They walk to a few stores and try a
few clothes.DIN went into a fancy clothing brand. He quickly look for a
fancy looking Eid clothes and try it on.

DIN
This is perfect! I think I will go with this one.

JAL
Are you sure? The quality is good but the price is just over your
budget.There are more clothes that have the same quality with an affordarble
price out there.
DIN
I want this brand. It is worth the price.

4th Scene

(Back to present) DIN is sitting at his desk, regret written all over his
face as he realizes the consequences of his impulsive decision.

DIN
I should have listened to JAL. Now im struggling to pay my tuition fees
because I wasted money on a brand name.
