The Boys and Girls Club of Hartford will be hosting a GREAT Futures Celebration to help the children in
and around Hartford set up a better future for themselves.

Hartford, CT, April 17, 2024 – The Boys and Girls Club of Hartford will be hosting a celebration presented
by GREAT Futures featuring performances by Motown, R&B, Funk and Disco, Dueling Pianos, and Music
& Arts Programs. Through membership and community outreach, we serve thousands of youth annually
through programs focused on Academic Success, Character & Leadership, STEAM, Diversity, Equity &
Inclusion, Health & Wellness, and Workforce Readiness. We are dedicated to helping children gain the
knowledge to be able to succeed later in life as well as right now.

The two communities will come together on May 9, 2024 at 5:30pm. The performing groups will be on
stage for 45 minutes each so be sure to get a ticket before they sell out. Click here for more ticket info.

“At the Boys and Girls Club, we strive to make it an enjoyable experience for everyone involved from the
children to the staff, and we have done so for over 100 years,” says Ryan Formica, marketing director.
“This is also the 20th celebration of GREAT Futures here and we plan to make it the best one yet.”

The Boys and Girls Club of Hartford has not only influenced generations of knowledgeable children who
have become hard working adults, some alumni of the club are fortunate enough to be able to send their
children here for only $10 a month. “The Boys and Girls Club of Hartford is the best thing to have been
introduced to my family and it warms my heart to see my child playing and interacting with other kids his
age and knowing he will get a good education here as well” confirmed by Mrs Healy, a parent of three
children who come here.
