SUMMER OUTING - OUTDOOR ACTIVITY

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF RISK AND SAFETY/ASSUMPTION OF RISK

In consideration of being allowed to participate in this outdoor activity (the “Activity”), organized by
Stantec and facilitated by Coral View Beach Resort, I represent that I understand the nature of this
Activity and that I am qualified, in good health, and in proper physical condition to participate in the
Activity, which involves participation in a variety of tasks, activities, and exercises with others to
enhance personal self-development, to engage in positive communications, to learn leadership skills,
and to effectively work together as a team.

Participation in The Activity carries with it certain inherent risks that cannot be eliminated regardless
of the care taken to avoid injuries. I know that the tasks, activities and exercises making up the
Activity might involve risks which may vary ranging from minor injuries such as scratches, bruises
and sprains, major injuries such as joint or back injuries, and concussions and serious bodily injury,
including disability, paralysis and death, and damage or loss of personal property and other known
and foreseeable risks including, but not limited to, the risks of travel on roads or rough terrain; the
lifting and moving of obstacles, and others. Before or during any part of the activity, if I believe it
unsafe, I will immediately discontinue my participation. I realize that there may be other risks not
known to me or not readily foreseeable but I fully accept and assume all such risks, whether or not
identified above, and I assume all responsibility for losses and damages which I may suffer as a result
of my participation in this Activity.

I agree to abide by all rules and regulations established by Coral View Beach Resort. I agree to follow
the instructions of the facilitators. I will be responsible to call to the attention of the facilitator any
situation that I perceive as potentially hazardous to myself or anyone in the group.

Waiver: I, for myself, my heirs, personal representatives or assigns, do hereby release, waive,
discharge, and covenant not to sue Stantec Technical Asia Inc, its officers, employees, from liability
resulting in personal injury, accidents or illnesses (including death), and property loss arising from
but not limited to, participation in The Activity.

Indemnification and Hold Harmless: I also agree to INDEMNIFY AND HOLD Stantec Technical Asia Inc
HARMLESS from any and all claims, actions, suits, procedures, costs, expenses, damages and
liabilities, including attorney's fees brought as a result of my involvement in The Activity and to
reimburse them for any such expenses incurred.

Acknowledgment of Understanding: I have read this acknowledgement of risk and safety,

assumption of risk, waiver of liability and indemnity agreement, and I fully understand its terms, and
understand that I am giving up substantial rights, including my right to sue. I acknowledge that I am
signing the agreement freely and voluntarily, and intend by my signature to be a complete and
unconditional release of all liability to the greatest extent allowed by law.

I have read the previous paragraphs and I know, understand, and appreciate these and other risks
that are inherent in The Activity. I hereby assert that my participation is voluntary and having
chosen to participate, that I knowingly assume all such risks.
