Destination Green Teak Polymer Composite

is a durable, circular, low-maintenance and
environmentally friendly bio-composite. 80%
of its composition originates from recycled
materials on top of which it is 100% recyclable.

European Engineered

This composite is developed by the Compound

Natural Teak + Recycled + Additives = TPC Composite Company in Enschede, the Netherlands. Their
Filler HDPE goal is to supply the European engineering
and construction industry with an alternative
for wood that is more durable and reduces
the demand for deforestation. Besides its
development, the most important quality related
additive, Yparex®, is also produced in Enschede.

Applications

Besides the most common applications such as wall cladding and

decking, our bio-composite is also suitable for more advanced
applications, such as boat decks and furniture components.

Quality

Resulting from the high density of our composite: 1.460 kg/m3,

it barely absorbs any water. Low water absorption assures that
it hardly expands in comparison to its substitutes, making it very
suitable for exterior applications.
Profiles

The larger portion of our products

are made by extruding the
compound. Most extrusion currently
happens in our facility in Asia. In the
middle of 2022 we will also set up
an extrusion line for wall cladding

in the Netherlands, so that we can
tailor to the European market with
more speed and flexibility. At the
moment we carry a collection of
over 18 different profiles, which we
are constantly expanding.

Injection Molding

It is also possible to fabricate with

bio-composite by injection molding.
With some minor adaptations to
our compound we can offer a wide Window Frame - 110 x 65 mm Door Frame - 110 x 50 mm Beam - 100 x 50 mm Table Top - 197 x 25 mm Beam - 50 x 45 mm
variety of products, as for example
seat shells. By doing so we do not
only offer an alternative for wood,
however, also a greener alternative
for products that are currently fully
made out of plastic.

 Colors

Teak Polymer Bio-Composite is naturally grey

brownish. It is, however, possible to give bio-
composite another color by adding color
pigments to the mix during the production
process. This way we can make every color that
lies in between beige and black.

Custom Color?

For larger projects or specialized products it is

possible to develop new and additional colors.
We can develop and mix the desired color in our
own in-house lab.

Durable

Since the color pigments are mixed in with the

10118 - Ebony Grey 10119 - Walnut Brown 10120 - Natural Maple compound the color is identical throughout the
entirety of the material, as opposed to varnished
or otherwise coated products. In the event that
the material does get dirty or damaged only mild
sanding is required. This will make the material
appear just as it did when it originally arrived,
without it needing to be painted. Our composites
also contain an anti-uv, guaranteeing minimal
fading as a result of extreme sun.
