Clemente WHEREAS, the Local Government of Pasig City is one with the parents, school officials, and other concemed residents of Pasig City in the desire to give the best environment to its citizens and every opportunity for their development; j WHEREAS, verified reports had previously reached the Sangguniang Paniungsod on the unabated proliferation of online gaming in the City of Pasig, particularly offshore gaming, on-line casinos, e-games and e-bingo outlets as well as computer gaming station and installation of software by internet shops for the purpose of gaming for @ fee including on on-line games and other similar games at these establishments; WHEREAS, Sec. 458 (4) (vii) of Republic Act No. 7610 otherwise known as Local Government Code of 1991 states that the Sangguniang Panlungsod has the power to regulate the establishment, operation and maintenance of any entertainment or amusement facilities, including the theatrical performances, circuses, billiards, pools, public dancing school, public dance halls, sauna baths, massage pariors and other places of entertainment, particularly those which tend to disturb the community or annoy the inhabitants, or require the suspension or suppression of the same, prohibit certain forms of amusement or entertainment in order to protect the social and moral welfare of the community; WHEREAS, as a response to the same, the Sangguniang Panlungsod Breviously issued of Resolution No. 95, Series of 2017 setting a moratorium on the aforestated practices for a period of three (3) years from approval, or from 30 March 2017; ( . ia pH pu. fh apt meRepublic of the Philippines SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD City Government of Pasig Resolution No._92.
