A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF PASIG, THROUGH

ITS HONORABLE CITY MAYOR, VICTOR MA. REGIS N. SOTTO, TO ENTER INTO
AND SIGN A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING WITH LAND BANK OF THE
PHILIPPINES, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

WHEREAS, Section 455, (b), (1), (vii) of the Republic Act No. 7160 otherwise
known as the Local Government Code of 1991 provides that the City Mayor shall represent the
city in all its business transactions and sign in its behalf all bonds, contract, and obligations, and
such other documents upon authority of the Sangguniang Panlungsod or pursuant to law or
ordinance;
WHEREAS, LAND BANK OF THE PHILLIPINES formulated LANDBANK
Link.BizPortal to simplify procedures and accelerate the processing of applications for Real
Property Tax (RPT), Business Permit and other fees;
WHEREAS, LANDBANK Link.BizPortal will enable the taxpayers to lodge their tax
dues and pay the required fees through electronic mode of payments and print system-generated
electronic debit confirmation slip;
WHEREAS, the City Government of Pasig aims to establish effective practices and
efficient turnaround of the delivery of government services through business one-stop-shop for
business and license permit application and renewal, tax payments, as well as to provide easy
and accessible payment options to its constituents;.
NOW, THEREFORE, on motion duly seconded, the Sangguniang Panlungsod resolves,
as it is hereby resolved, to authorize the City Government of Pasig, through its Honorable City
Mayor, Victor Ma. Regis N. Sotto, to enter into and sign a Memorandum of Understanding with
Land Bank of the Philippines.
RESOLVE, FURTHER, that the copies of the Memorandum of Understanding shall
form integral part of this Resolution.
