PERFORMANCE TASK IN GENERAL BIOLOGY

MEAL PLAN

STEM 11 A
Meal 1 (Breakfast)
Main Dish: ARROZ CALDO
INGREDIENTS:
6pcs Chicken Wings 2 tbsp. Vegetable Oil
4 Cloves Garlic 2 Pieces Ginger
1 Piece Onion 6 tbsp. Glutinous Rice
6 Cups Water 0.25 tsp Ground Pepper
3 Pieces Egg 1 tbsp. Toasted Garlic
1 tbl Onion Springs 6 Pieces Lime

Carbohydrates: glutinous rice


Proteins: Chicken/ Slice egg
Lipids: Vegetable oil/egg yolk
Preparation Instructions:
Step1
Sauté chicken in oil. Remove and set aside.
Step2
Sauté garlic, ginger and onion in the same pot. Add
rice, pour water and simmer while covered for 30
minutes. Stir occasionally.
Step3
Add chicken and cook for another 15 minutes. Season
with salt and pepper. Serve with preferred garnishes.
Meal 2 (Lunch)
Main Dish: Pork Sinigang with Gabi
INGREDIENTS:
5 cup Water
2 medium size gabi
0.5 kg Pork Spareribs
0.5 cup Okra
1 pc Onion
0.5 cup
2 pcs Tomato
1 cup Kangkong
1 pc Finger Chili
lemon/tamarind
0.5 cup Radish

Carbohydrates: gabi
Proteins: Pork spareribs, okra
Lipids: pork meat fat
Preparation Instructions:
Step1
Simmer pork with water with onion and tomatoes for 45
minutes
Step2
Add gabi, siling panigang, radish, okra and sitaw with 2-min
intervals.
Step3
Season with salt, ground pepper and lemon or tamarind.
Serve immediately
Meal 3 (Dinner)
Main Dish: Pinakbet
INGREDIENTS:

2 tbsp Vegetable Oil 1 cup Kalabasa


2 cloves Garlic 0.5 cup Okra
1 pc Onion 0.5 cup Sitaw
2 pcs Tomato 0.5 cup Ampalaya
0.5 cup Pork Belly 1 cup Eggplant
1 tbsp Bagoong Alamang Salt & Pepper
1.5 cups Water

Carbohydrates: Vegetables
Proteins: Pork belly
Lipids: Vegetable oil
Preparation Instructions:
Step1
Sauté garlic, onion, tomato, pork and bagoong in oil. Pour
water and simmer for 10 minutes.
Step2
Add kalabasa, okra and sitaw in 2-minute intervals. Add
ampalaya and eggplant and simmer for 5 minutes.
Step3
Add seasoning and serve.
