ACTUAL PRACTICAL

Provide each student with the following apparatus.

(i)One stopwatch.
(ii)Slotted masses m=50g (six for each student).
(iii)Unknown mass labelled M. (Use a dry cell size D with the
trade name ABC supper electric).
(iv)Retort stand with it’s accessories.
(v)Two wooden blocks.
(vi)Three light threads of about 120cm.
(vii)A meter rule.
(viii)Two cardboard discs of radius 10cm each, one labelled A and
the other B with holes drilled near the edge at uniform intervals.
(ix) A calorimeter with it’s accessories.
(x)A thermometer (0- 100)
(xi)A beaker (200ml)
