Bangladesh Tourism Corporation is an autonomous
organization working for the development of tourism industry in Bangladesh. The organization is operated under the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. It is known as the national tourism organization of Bangladesh and it contributes significantly to the national economy. Bangladesh Tourism Corporation (BAPAC) is a National Tourism Organization (NTO). The institution was founded in 1972 by His Excellency the President was established vide Order No. and commenced its operations in 1973.
