Collaboration for Surpac Users
Easy-to-use, empowering collaboration capabilities are
now available directly within your Surpac software. If you
exchange planning, production or exploration data on site
or with other locations, enable the Hub Integration module
for Surpac for a brand new type of data sharing experience.
Never again worry about using the latest version of the data
– you will know what that is, right from within Surpac. At
best, working with the wrong data can mean having to scrap
or redo work, resulting in wasted time and lost productivity.
At worst, working with the wrong data can have serious

With the Hub Integration module for Surpac, you benefit
from a seamless, in-product collaboration experience where
you can work confidently with your data. You will avoid
manual, repetitive “version checks” with your colleagues to
validate what is the most up-to-date information.
• Status icons give you immediate visibility of the current
state of your Surpac files, whether they are new, edited,
locked by you or by others.
• New files, folders and projects created locally can be uploaded
to Hub, directly from Surpac individually or as a batch.
• Files, folders and projects uploaded by others can be
easily identified for first time download.
• Updates to data you’ve downloaded before are easily
identifiable and can be synchronised with existing local copies.

When working with any file, you can easily audit its version
history to see who made changes to it and when. Should
you ever need to revert to a previous version, all versions of
the data that have been worked on are stored within Hub
for easy and fast rollback.

share with others. Hub gives you the ability to quickly and
easily define who can view your data and what type of
editing rights they have. You can also ensure that files are
protected as they are being worked on by you or others
– simple one-click locking and unlocking of files enables
highly optimised editing workflows.
Share Data Easily
with Anyone, Anywhere
If you share data with staff or consultants at other locations,
Hub helps you collaborate more effectively. In Hub, only the
bits that have changed are exchanged, turning hours of file
transfer to minutes and seconds, even if you have a slow or
low-quality connection. Your days of having to take disks
and drives with you to and from site may well be over.
Are You Currently Using
Windows Folders to Centralise
and Manage Your Data?
If you use shared Windows folders, you can never be certain
you are working on the right file, which may cause rework, and
in the worst case scenario, downstream issues in production.
Windows folders cannot tell you who has the latest version of
the data, and who may be working with it right now. Windows
folders do not provide an audit trail of changes allowing you
to see the complete history of your data, do not provide revert
capabilities to “rollback” to a previous version and do not
provide notifications of changes to users. In reality, Windows
folders are not optimised for collaboration, especially if users
