Perpendicularity

Perpendicularity (A) (also known as out of square) is defined as the alignment of the first drive axle
from the centre line of the frame.
Note
The alignment of the first drive axle is determined by its perpendicularity to the frame centre
line. It is used as a reference for all other axles. The exceptions are 8x2 and 6x2 with leaf
suspension. For these, the tag axle is used as a reference. The perpendicularity of the
steered auxiliary axle is also measured from the frame centre line.
