My Care Plan
Family and Background Arman is a 15 years old boy who born and raised up
in USA and since 2019 he is living in Tower Hamlets.
He lives with his mum and dad (step).
Special needs/ Disabilities Arman has been diagnosed with;

Dandy Walker Syndrome, a rare congenital brain
malformation which limits his motor skills
including his speech. He has Spastic diplegia
and is a wheelchair user. He also has Myopic
astigmatism.
Personal care and toileting needs Arman needs assistance at all time for all his personal
and hygiene needs.

Social and behavioural development
Behaviour Arman is generally a calm boy. He listens all the

instructions nicely at home and at his school as well. He
loves to watch TV and get relaxed on his couch most of
the time. He is friendly and good in manner. His Dandy
syndrome is a rare genetic condition that effects brain
development, priiarily development of the cerebellium
(which is the part of the brain that coordinates
movement) and the fluis filled spaces around it. Arman
presents with significant speech and language difficulties
using assistive technology to communicate. Due to his
health issues with poor coordination requires wheelchair
for all sorts of movements. However, Arman loves to play
with his toys and enjoys watching differnt games as well.
Speech and Communication Arman is non verbal and will make some verbal noise
when he wants to.
Expression/ Likes/ Dislikes Arman is not fussy at all and he loves everything most of
the time.
