End of the Term 2 Speaking Exam – Topics

The most important thing to remember is that the children should be able to speak
and answer questions freely. Learning off answers to questions doesn’t demonstrate
an understanding of language and the purpose of speaking tests is to assess the
childs ability to speak about a given topic in the moment.
From the previous assessments I have some notes on how to improve:
-When talking in the past tense: using the correct verb tense
I went, I ate, I swam...
-When talking about something that will happen in the future:
I will go, I will eat, I will swim...
-Speaking loud and clear
Try to show confidence in what they are saying- take time to think and then speak
loud.
