Dankjewel voor het kiezen van een patroon van SuperSkattig. Via illustraties en tekst zal ik
je begeleiden tot het maken van je eigen creatie. Ik hoop dat het een mooie ervaring wordt en dat je met
veel plezier tot een mooi resultaat komt. Helaas moet ik nog wel wat regels met betrekking tot copyright
toelichten. Het maken van een ontwerp en een patroon is heel veel werk. Het is verboden dit patroon te
kopiëren, door te mailen of op enige ander manier te verspreiden. Het is wel toegestaan om eigen handge-
maakte creaties naar aanleiding van dit patroon te verkopen, maar massaproductie is niet toegestaan. De
creaties zijn niet geschikt voor kinderen tot en met 3 jaar.

Borduurlijnen aanbrengen op vilt
Er zijn verschillende manieren om de te borduren lijnen netjes op het vilt aan te brengen. Ik leg twee
manieren uit:
A: Trek de lijnen over op waxpapier, bakpapier of doorzichtig papier (A1). Speld dit vast op het vilt en borduur
de lijnen door het papier en vilt heen (A2). Verwijder het papier voorzichtig als je klaar bent (A3).

B: Maak een borduurmal. Dit doe je door de knipmal nog een keer te printen en hiervan een borduurmal te
knippen zoals B1 laat zien. Plaats dan de borduurmal op het vilt en teken met een potlood of pen de lijnen.
Maak hele fijne lijnen zodat je ze na het borduren niet meer ziet (B2). Borduur daarna de lijnen op het vilt met
een dubbele draad (B3).

Transfer embroidery lines on felt

There are different ways to transfer the embroidery lines onto the felt. I explain two of them:
A: Trace the lines onto wax paper, baking paper or transparant paper (A1). Pin the paper in place onto the
felt and stitch along the lines through the paper and felt (A2). Than carefully tear the paper away from your
stitches (A3).

B: Make your own embroidery template. Print the pattern piece again and cut the embroidery template as
shown in B1. Position the embroidery template and draw the lines with a marker or pencil on the felt. Make
very fine lines otherwise you might not completely cover the lines with embroidery floss (B2). Embroider the
lines with a double thread (B3).

Transferir os bordados para o feltro

Existem diferentes maneiras de transferir os bordados para o feltro. Explicarei dois deles.
A: Trace as linhas em papel de cera, papel manteiga ou papel transparente (A1). Alfinete o papel no feltro
onde se realizará o bordado e borde ao longo das linhas seguindo o desenho (A2). Rasgue ciodadosamente o
papel ao longo dos pontos (A3).

B:Faça o seu próprio gabarito de bordado. Imprimir a peça padrão novamente e cortar o gabarito de bordado,
como mostrado na figura B1. Posicione o gabarito do bordados e desenhar as linhas, com um marcador ou
lápis no feltro. Faça linhas muito finas caso contrário você pode não cobrir completamente as linhas com
linha de bordado (B2). Bordar as linhas com um fio duplo (B3).

Oogjes en wenkbrauwen
Voor de oogjes gebruik ik veiligheidsoogjes. Mocht je die niet tot je beschikking hebben dan kan je ook
zwarte kralen nemen of zwarte rondjes van vilt knippen.
Bepaal de plek waar de oogjes moeten komen en zet een stipje op de stof (1b). Maak daarna met de schaar
een gaatje op de plek waar de oogjes doorheen moet komen (1c). Steek de oogjes erdoorheen (1d). Doe
rondom de stekers wat vulmateriaal en plaats daarna eerst een stukje karton over de stekers om wat diep-
te in het gezicht te creëren (1e, 1f). Daarna druk je de dopjes erop (1f). Als de oogjes klaar zijn, borduur je
de wenkbrauwen erop met een enkele draad (1g).

Eyes and Eyebrows

For the eyes I use safety eyes. If you do not have them, you can also use black beads or black circles cut
from felt.
Determine where the eyes should come and put a dot on the felt (1b). Make a hole with scissors on the
spots where the eyes have to come (1c). Insert the eyelets through the hole (1d). Put stuffing around the
plugs and then place a piece of cardboard over the plugs to create some depth in the face (1e,1f). Put the
caps on the eyes (1f). If the eyes are ready, embroider the eyebrows using one thread (1g).

Olhos e sobrancelhas
Para os olhos eu prefiro usar olhos de segurança. Se você não os encontrar, você pode substituí-los por
pérolas pretas ou cortar círculos pretos no feltro.
Determine onde os olhos devem ficar e marque um pontinho com a caneta (1b). Em seguida, faça um furo
com a tesoura no lugar onde o olho será colocado (1c). Insira os olhos através do orifício (1d). Coloque um
pouco de enchimento ao redor dos olhos como indicado na foto, em seguida insira um pedaço de papelão
para causar um efeito no profundidade (1e, 1f). Depois é só colocar a peça que fixa os olhos (1f). Com os
olhos prontos é só bordar as sobrancelhas usando o fio duplo na cor marrom (1g).

Knip de vormen uit
Knip eerst de papieren mallen uit. Er zijn verschillende manieren om de vormen uit vilt te knippen. Je kan
met een marker de mal overtrekken op het vilt en deze uitknippen. Een andere mogelijkheid is om de mal
strak op het vilt te spelden en dan langs de mal te knippen. Dus kies de manier die het beste bij jou past!
Als alles geknipt is, heb je de onderdelen zoals in illustratie A.

Cut out the shapes

First cut the paper mold. There are several ways to cut the shapes from felt. You can draw the outline with
a marker on the felt and cut the felt. Another possibility is to pin the mold tightly on the felt, and then cut
along the mold, Choose the way that suits you best! When everything is cut, you have the parts as shown
in illustration A.

Corte as formas
Primeiro corte o molde impresso. Existem muitos modos de passar o molde para o feltro: um deles é você
desenhar no feltro com a caneta esferográfica e cortar eliminando a parte do risco da caneta; outro modo é
fixar o molde com fita adesiva diretamente e cortar. Escolha o modo com o qual você mais se identificar, você
terá as partes como mostrado na figura A.

We beginnen met Bob de Bulldog!
Positioneer de vlek op het gezicht en naai deze vast met de blanket stitch. Naai alleen die kant vast zoals
op illustratie 1 is aangegeven met een stippellijn. Doe hetzelfde met de achterkant van het hoofd (1).
Knip de achterste laag vilt weg onder de vlek vandaan (1). Doe dit ook met de achterkant. Zorg ervoor dat
de vlekken straks goed aansluiten bij het dichtnaaien van het hoofd.

We start with Bob the Bulldog!

Pin the spot on the head and sew with the blanket stitch. Sew only those parts as shown in illustration 1
with a dotted line. Do the same with the other part of the head(1).
Cut the piece of felt behind the spot (1). Do the same with the other part (1). Make sure the spots align
when you sew the two parts of the head together.

Começamos com Bob o bulldog!

Alfinete a mancha na cabeça e costure com o com o ponto caseado. Costure apenas as partes como
mostrado na ilustração 1 com uma linha pontilhada. Faça o mesmo com a outra parte da cabeça (1).
Corte o pedaço de feltro por trás da mancha (1). Faça o mesmo com o outro lado (1). Certifique-se de alin-
har os pontos quando você costurar as duas partes da cabeça juntas.

Positioneer de ogen en naai vast met de back stitch (2). Plaats het tandje met daar bovenop de onderkaak
op het snuitje. Naai de onderkaak vast aan het snuitje met de blanket stitch. Naai alleen die kanten die aan-
gegeven worden door een stippellijn (3). Lijm vervolgens het loszittende deel van het tandje vast aan het
snuitje. Vastnaaien mag natuurlijk ook (3). Leg het snuitje op het hoofd en naai alleen die kant vast zoals in
illustratie 4 is aangegeven met een stippellijn.
Position the eyes and sew them on the head with the back stitch (2). Place the tooth and the lower jaw on
the snout. Sew the lower jaw onto the snout with the blanket stitch. Sew only those parts as shown in illu-
stration 3 with a dotted line. Then glue the loose part of the tooth onto the snout or sew it to the snout (3).
Put the snout on the head and sew them together with the blanket stitch. Sew only those parts as shown in
illustration 4 with a dotted line.

Posicione os olhos e costurá-los na cabeça com o ponto atrás (2). Inserir o dente e o maxilar inferior no fo-
cinho. Costure o maxilar inferior no focinho com o ponto caseado. Costure apenas as partes como mostrado
na ilustração 3 com uma linha pontilhada. Em seguida, cola a parte solta do dente sobre o focinho ou costu-
re com ponto atrás se preferir (3). Coloque o focinho na cabeça e costurá-los juntos com o ponto caseado.
Costure apenas as partes como mostra a ilustração 4 com uma linha pontilhada.

heidsoogjes is een standaard illustratie, daarom kan de vorm en kleur van het hoofd afwijken.

Cut the piece of felt behind the snout (5).

Blanket stitch the nose on the face (6).
We are going to place the safety eyelets (6mm) (7). If you do not have safety eyelets, you can also use
black beads or black circles cut from felt. The explanation regarding the placement of safety eyelets can be
found in the beginning of this pattern. The illustration for the eyes is a standard illustration, therefore the
shape and color of the head can be different.

Vamos colocar os olhos de segurança (6mm) (7). Se você não tem olhos de segurança, você também pode

9a. Gebruik bijpassende kleuren garen. Vul het hoofd met vulmateriaal bij 9b en 9c. Naai de opening dicht.

Blanket stitch the ears on the head as shown in illustration 8.

Pin the two parts of the head together and sew with the blanket stitch. Use matching color yarn. Begin
stitching at 9a. Fill with stuffing material at 9b and 9c. Close the opening.

Costure com o ponto caseado as orelhas na cabeça, como mostrado na ilustração 8.

Alfinete as duas partes da cabeça juntas e costure com o ponto caseado. Use uma linha combinando cores

aan het hoofd. Zorg ervoor dat je de steekjes niet ziet aan de buitenkant. Dit doe je door de naald alleen
door de onderste laag van het vilt heen te halen (11).

Glue the eyebrows on the face (10). Fold the ears down and sew them with some stitches to the head. Make
sure you do not see the stitches on the outside. This is done by not stitching all the way through the felt,
but through half layer (11).

Cole as sobrancelhas na face (10). Dobre as orelhas para baixo e costurá-los com alguns pontos na cabeça.
Certifique-se de que você não vê os pontos do lado de fora. Isto é feito por costura não todo o caminho
através do feltro, mas com a metade da camada (11). Ou se preferir use cola quente.

Speld de twee helften van het lijf op elkaar. Start met naaien met de blanket stitch bij 16a. Vul tussentijds
met vulmateriaal zoals aangegeven in illustratie 16. Sluit de opening.
Naai met de ladder stitch het hoofd stevig vast. Ga meerdere keren rond met de ladder stitch voor extra
stevigheid (17).
Het is je gelukt, je hebt je eigen Bob the Bulldog gemaakt!

Pin the two halves of the body to each other. Start sewing with the blanket stitch at 16a. Fill with stuffing
material as shown in illustration 16. Close the opening.
Sew the head firmly to the neck with the ladder stitch. Go several laps around the neck with the ladder stitch
for extra strength (17).
Yes you did it, you made your own Bob the Bulldog!

blanket stitch. Naai alleen die delen vast die aangegeven worden met een stippellijn in illustratie 1b. Knip
het vilt weg achter het snuitje (1c).

Now we start with Eddy!

Position the white part of the eyes behind the snout and place them on the head (1a). Blanket stitch them
together. Sew only those parts as shown in illustration 1b with a dotted line. Cut away the felt behind the
snout (1c).

Agora vamos começar com Eddy!

Posicione a parte branca dos olhos atrás do focinho e colocá-los na cabeça (1a). Costure-as juntas com o
ponto caseado. Costure apenas as partes como mostrado na ilustração 1b com uma linha pontilhada. Corte

Glue the eyebrows on the face (4). Blanket stitch the nose on the face (5). Use the blanket stitch to sew the
chin under the face (6). Position the ears like shown in illustration 7 and sew them to the head with the blan-
ket stitch.

Cole as sobrancelhas na face (4). Use o ponto caseado para costurar o focinho na face (5). Use o ponto casea-

Naai de vlekjes op het lijf met de blanket stitch. Zorg ervoor dat de vlekjes op de achterkant van het lijf straks
aansluiten bij het dichtnaaien van het lijf (9). Speld de twee helften van het lijf op elkaar. Start met naaien
met de blanket stitch bij 10a. Vul tussentijds met vulmateriaal zoals aangegeven in illustratie 10. Sluit de
opening. Leg de voor- en achterkanten van de pootjes op elkaar en naai ze aan elkaar met de blanket stitch.
Start met naaien bij 11a. Vul de pootjes met vulmateriaal bij 11b en 11c. En naai de opening dicht.

The body
Sew the spots on the body. Make sure the spots align (9). Pin the two halves of the body to each other. Start
sewing with the blanket stitch at 10a. Fill with stuffing material as shown in illustration 10. Close the ope-
ning. Place the front and back sides of the legs together and sew them with the blanket stitch. Start sewing at
11a. Fill the legs with stuffing material at 11b and 11c. Close the opening.

O corpo
Costure as manchas no corpo. Certifique-se de deixar os pontos alinhados (9). Comece a costurar com o ponto
caseado como mostrado na figura 11a. Encha com a fibra como mostrado na figura 16b e16c. Feche a aber-
tura. Junte as duas metades e costure com o ponto caseado. Inície costurando como mostrado na figura 11a.
Encha com a fibra nos pontos 11b e 11c. Feche a abertura.

stevigheid (12). Doe hetzelfde met de pootjes (12).

niet ziet aan de buitenkant. Dit doe je door de naald alleen door de onderste laag van het vilt heen te halen
(13).
Het is je gelukt, je eigen Eddy is klaar!
