Please forward the following Information to all chemistry faculty members

Dear Professors,

The M.Sc., final year research projects are going to start after the completion of term end
examination, 3rd Jan. 2024. We would like to bring following information to all chemistry
faculty members.

1. Maximum of TWO students are allowed to register with one faculty (Dean, SAS
approval)

2. For purchasing chemicals/glassware's/testing charges Seven thousand Five Hundred

rupees (7500/-) allotted per student (Only those who are pursuing projects inside VIT are
eligible to purchase chemicals/ glassware/characterization (maximum of Rs. 7500/-)

3. All chemicals/glassware's purchased through proper channel on or before Jan.2024

4. The area of research for the external projects should be informed to the project
coordinators prior to their work starts.

5. External students should submit the permission letter from concerned institution/ industry
before commencement of the project

6. If the expert committee feels that the work progress of the external student is not
satisfactory, then the students have to come back to VIT campus and work with the internal
guide for the remaining period.

7. All the students should attend in person for all the review presentations (First, Second
and Third) without fail.

8. Please fill the pro forma given (with digital signature of student and internal guide) and
send to mail id: chemproject24@gmail.com. Hardcopy should submit to the project
coordinators
