Re-advertisement of Studentship Position

Applications from Pakistani nationals are invited for the following position to work on HEC funded NRPU
Project (Project No.10164/KPK/NRPU/R&D/HEC/2017) titled “Preparation and evaluation of
thermoplastic based green renewable bio composites from agro waste as inorganic additives”.
The position is open in the department of chemistry, Islamia College Peshawar as per following details
and terms:

Research 1. MPhil Chemistry with first division or CGPA 3.00/4:00 initially for six months Rs:20000/-
Associate/ at minimum. extendable up to per
M.Phil 2. Candidate must be enrolled in M.Phil Program in a maximum 1 year month (All
Student HEC recognized Institution/University or ready to get subjected to satisfactory inclusive)
admission in M.Phil Program in the department of performance and funds
chemistry, ICP. availability
3. The candidate should have no third division and no
more than two second divisions in the entire academic
career.
4. The candidate must not be getting any type of
scholarship/ any other funds/remunerations/any
salary.
5. In-service candidates will not be considered for the
post.

Terms and conditions

1. Only short-listed eligible candidates will be called for interview.
2. Preference will be given to candidates having good working experience related to the polymer
composites, nanomaterials synthesis and Characterization (XRD, FTIR, TGA and antimicrobial).
3. The Principal Investigator reserves the right to accept or reject any application without giving any
reason.
4. The selected candidate will be initially engaged @ Rs.20000/month for six months followed by an
extension up to maximum 1 year subject to satisfactory performance and funds availability.
5. The Principal investigator can terminate the contract due to poor performance at any stage of the
project.
