Chapter I. Business Description

Business Name:

The business name “Match It!” is inspired by the popular “Mix and Match” trend by
many fast food chains around the world. “Match It!” lets customers match their own set
according to their liking by simply choosing one main crochet clip and one side bracelet.
Customers can mix and match 100% handmade items to suit their personal style and preferences.
The crochet clips and bracelets are designed to be unique and inclusive, allowing
customers to express themselves through their custom match. The business made sure that there
will be a design for girls and boys so that they can choose and purchase regardless of their
gender.

The business logo includes the business name which is the word “Match It!” and the
words “Yarn and Beads” since the main product is made out of yarn while the side product is
made out of beads that’s why those words are included in the business logo. As for the shapes
and design, the business put hearts to give a touch of “Handmade with Love”. It included some
of the designs the business can offer like the tulip, daisy and strawberry. The business made sure
that the business logo is aesthetically creative to make sure that it is pleasing in the eyes of the
customers.

Business Tagline:

“Look and get hooked by our creations” simply means that the business is confident on
the product for the target market to see. Look means to view the artwork while get hooked means
to be impressed by the creations. The business used the word hooked because the artwork is a
form of craft that will need a hook in order to be formed that’s why the business included that
word to have a more catchy tagline.

Business Location:

“Match It!” will be located at Room C17 in Saint Rose of Lima Catholic School, Inc. in
Santa Rosa, Nueva Ecija. This specific location will provide an easy access to a large
population which are the students from different departments. This location will help the
business to directly connect with other students that will also serve as the customers.

Vision:

The business’ vision is to inspire everyone to express their unique style through products
that are offered. It promote inclusivity by offering designs that are inclusive and allow every
customer, regardless of gender, to find their perfect match. It aims to make self-expression
easy and fun for all, while promoting inclusivity and diversity in fashion. The business aim to
make fashion accessible for everyone, promoting an inclusive culture and acceptance. The

products encourage customers to explore and express their unique styles in exciting new

Product and Services:

"Match it!" offers one main product which is crochet clip consists of six different
designs like tulip, strawberry, daisy, basketball, billiards ball and the famous Luffy hat. It also
offers a side product which is beaded bracelet consists of six different designs like tulip flower,
classic flower, butterfly, basketball and billiard ball design. As for the packaging, the business
decided to put it in a reusable drawstring pouch for everyone to practice sustainability and also
it has a little treat for the customers because it has a sticker freebie for every purchase.

About the Company:

The company’s team is composed of young entrepreneurs that are dedicated in


promoting an inclusive culture for everyone. The company want to inspire them to express
themselves in a more unique and exciting way. The members of the team are consistent honor
student and are good in their own fields.

Marketing Environment
Suppliers The company is getting its supplies from Elay's online
store, Zyentalian, St. Kunkka Store, Shilucky Shop, Sha-studio,
Butingting-ATBP, Mmanilago, and LanLan Sticker World. Ph, Beads
Shop 2020, Sanyou, Yarn it all these shops can be seen in Shopee,
Lazada, and TikTok shops.

Target Market/Costumer Because the company is located at SRLCSI,


students from the school will be the customers, so they will
definitely be considered to be leading the market. Also, SRLCSI
students enjoy being charming and sweet.

Demographic forces The student's budget at SRLCSI ranges from


₱100 - 400 a day. SRLCSI-Jhs students are mostly 13–16 years old,
while SRLCS-Shs students are 16–18 years old.

Competitors The main competitors that the company will face are
the other companies that have similar products to ours. After
knowing the competitor's brand and product, the company will find
a way to come up with better products and marketing strategies.
After knowing what their products will bring, we can come up with
more and better ways to improve our product and gain customer
approval.

Marketing Strategies
The MATCH IT business provides a high quality handmade
products that will surely make the costumers look cute and
charming at the same time. The business strategy focuses on
offering mix and match products consisting of a main crochet clip
and a beaded as a side product, flexible payment options, and
building a relationship with our customers. By providing
exceptional customer service and quality products, the business
aims to differentiate itself from other competitors and become
the most popular seller to the costumers. There are few crochet
products and beaded bracelet in the business marketing
competition, so the business MATCH IT must and will establish a
distinct and unique brand to stand out from the business
competitors with different strategies such as a unique eye
catching logo, naming, and other students business establishment.
Another way for the business to stand out and compete with other
identical business is by offering a freebies like the stickers

bracelet of with an inclusion of stickers freebie and a reusable
drawstring pouch. The sellers will personally deliver the
costumers orders a week after they make the order. The promotion
of the business MATCH IT primary method is through social media
and room to room selling. The entrepreneurs use social media to
create a facebook page online and advertise the products by
posting through the use facebook page. Producing a eye catching
informative advertisement is important in order to attract more
customers and to make sure that the customers are well aware of
what is our product all about. While also making sure to answer
the buyers inquiry to build a strong relationship with the
customer and for the business to gain popularity and reputation.
Room to room selling gave entrepreneurs an opportunity to better
know their customers and personally introduce them the business
product. The room to room selling was done in the St. Rose of
Lima Catholic School, and the target buyers of our business was
the junior high school students.
