Data Analysis about Average Life Expectancy of Filipinos

The life expectancy is the average period that a person may expect to live. life expectancy

is the term that refers to the number of years a person can expect to live. By definition, life

expectancy is based on an estimate of the average age that members of a particular population

group will be when they die. The figure 1 shows the life expectancy of Filipinos in year 2018 to

2022. Filipino average lifespan increases by 0.18% between the year 2018 and 2019, from life

expectancies of 71.16 to 71.28. The lifespan of Filipino grew by 0.18% between the year of 2019

to 2020 with the age of 71.28 to 71.41 and the life expectancy rise from the year 2020 to 2021

with 1.8% with the age of 71.41 to 71.53. While the age grew by 1.8% with the average lifespan

of 71.53 to 71.66 in the year 2021 to 2022. Consider that all 2020 and later data are UN

projections and DO NOT include any effects of the COVID-19 virus.

Data Analysis about Average Monthly Income of Filipino Families

The average monthly income or Monthly gross income is simply the amount you earn

every month before taxes and other deductions. Figure 2 shows the average monthly income of

Filipinos based on their life status.

The average monthly income of Filipinos drops into following categories. Poor

Filipinos have Php10,957 average monthly income while Low income but not Poor Filipinos

have monthly gross income of Php21,914. The Lower middle Filipinos have Php43,828. The

middle Filipino Family have Php76,669 and the upper Middle Filipino Family have the monthly

gross income of Php142,484. While the Upper Middle but not Poor Filipinos have average

monthly income of Php219,140. Lastly, the rich Filipino family have average monthly income of

Php219,140 and above. This statistic date is from Philippine Institute for Development Studies

(PIDS)

Data Analysis about Average Height of Filipino Men and Women

Height is the measurement from base to top or (of a standing person) from head to foot.

Some are very short; some are very tall. We all have an idea of a typical, or average, height. It

is the height we expect most people to be. Figure 3 shows the average height of Filipino men and

women. The data shows that male Filipinos is taller than the female with the average height of

163.22 centimeters while the female is commonly known as shorter than male with the average

height of 149.6 centimeter this statics data is based on a survey conducted by the Association of

Southeast Asian Nations DNA. The results of the study showed that Filipinos rank as the second

shortest race among southeast Asians.

Also, according to Insider website, the Philippines is on number 5 in 25 countries with

the shortest people in the world.

Data Analysis about Average of Monthly Consumption of Rice in the Country

Rice is life especially for Filipinos and other Asians. Even with the availability of other

staple foods such as noodles and bread, rice remains to be the primary choice for staple food in

the Philippines. Figure 4 shows the average consumption of rice in the country. Rice

consumption is categorized by their type.

According to Family Income and Expenditure Survey (FIES) ordinary rice was consumed

by approximately 15 million families at an average of 38.58kg monthly. Classified as ordinary

rice are regular commercial varieties like C-4, Intan, Macan and IR-8. For special rice, the

average consumption by about 4.1 million families consuming it was 27.42kg every month.

Special rice includes well-milled commercial varieties of rice like Wag-wag (1st class),

Milagrosa, Sinandomeng, Dinorado, 7Tonner and other fancy varieties. On the other hand, the

average consumption by approximately 2.2 million families for NFA rice was 21.25 mothly.

Data Analysis about Engineering students’ level of study habits and factors affecting them

Good study habits include finding a quiet location to study, taking breaks, settings goals, and

taking practice tests. By developing effective study skills, you may be able to cut down on the

numbers of hours spend studying, leaving more time for other things in your life. Figure 5 shows

the factors and habit and how much it affects the engineering student level of study. The data

shows that the noisy surroundings affect the student with 52% in school and 44% in home. The

inadequate books and references have 24% impact in school and 18.30% in home. While being

careless about assignment has also big impact in student level of study, it has 25% in school and

48.60% in home. Lastly, according to data the concentration and memory has the biggest impact

in students, it has 56% in school and 29.90% in home.

Note that this data given is include the effects of Covid 19 pandemic in factors and

habit of students.
