In addition to enhancing visitor satisfaction, the ITMS plays a crucial role in promoting
destination sustainability and responsible tourism practices. Through real-time monitoring
of environmental indicators and tourist behaviors, the system enables stakeholders to
identify potential threats to natural resources and cultural heritage sites. By implementing
proactive measures, such as crowd control strategies and waste management initiatives,
destinations can mitigate adverse impacts and foster long-term sustainability.
