4 Phrasal verbs - grammar

The phrasal verbs in Exercise 3 take an object. Other phrasal verbs like ‘sit down’ and ‘stand up’ don’t
take an object (e.g. "John, please stand up!"). For phrasal verbs that take an object, there are normally
two possible positions where the object can go. If the object is a pronoun, there is normally only one
possible position. Study the table below.

Complete the sentences below with a suitable phrasal verb from this lesson. For some
sentences, more than one answer is possible.
