BRIEFER
The GADTANGLAW award is inspired by the Tagalog word “tanglaw,” which means “light” or
“illumination.” It recognizes individuals in the university who have demonstrated exceptional
leadership, innovation, community empowerment, advocacy, and commitment to advancing GAD
principles and practices in weaving excellence in the fulfillment of the University's Vision and
Mission.
1. All faculty and employees are eligible to apply for the award.
2. Nominees must submit the accomplished Nomination Form with the Recommending
Approval of the immediate supervisor.
3. Each nomination/ application must be accompanied by a portfolio of a certified true copy of
noteworthy evidence, (from Fiscal Year 2022-2023), for each criterion. Such pieces of
evidence mean verification must have a direct relationship to the specific indicators/criteria.
4. The nomination email, together with the means of verification such as certificates, must be
