22.09.09 Information

The offer price for Certification Services is composed of the application fee plus the certification fee,
inspection fees and travel expenses. The certification fee will be given as lump sum regardless of
the number of scopes (i.e. crop production + processing + trading/distribution) and number of products
requested for certification. This fee includes overhead expenses for certification, administration,
accreditation, etc. However, the inspection fee is variable and shall include on-site field visit as well as
preparatory and post-inspection activities. The time needed to complete the field inspection is based on
the size and complexity of the operation such as:
 hectarage covered (e.g. 10-50 hectares of consolidated area per day)
 location, number and travel time between units (e.g. 4 farms per day; 0.5 days buying
centers/postharvest handling units; 1 day for 1 processing unit and 0.5 days additional
processing facility)
 number of products to be certified (e.g. Additional products: 0.5 days every 5 crop groups and
simple products (processed, AI, etc) after the first 3 products; 0.5 days for every 3 complex
processed products after the first product
 types of operations handled (crop production + processing + agricultural input, + Grower
Groups with ICS etc.)

The offer price does not include:


1. Additional inspections that may be necessary, e.g. upon recommendation of the inspector or as a
consequence of finding major non-compliances
2. The cost of laboratory analysis

The offer is valid for 3 months and any change in fees will be communicated to all clients at least one
month prior to implementation of changes. The full payment of the certification offer shall be
settled regardless of the outcome of the decision (granted, denied), suspended or revoked
certification). Payment of the offer for certification should be made in full every year before
processing of application (new or renewal) can start.

A percentage of the collected fees may be refunded when withdrawal of application is done prior to final
review for decision and shall be based on the service already rendered. Application fee is non-
refundable.

Certification Fee for Individual Farms/Companies or Php 25,000.00
Groups without Internal Control System
Certification Fee for Groups with Internal Control Php 30,000.00

Inspection Fee Php 5,000.00 per day and total number of days
covered is dependent on the complexity of the
operations
Sampling Fee Php 4,000.00 (additional fees may be charged
depending on the amount of products to be
sampled)
