ORDER
Dated the 18ft April, 2024

In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 17 (l) of the Institute

of Technologr Act, 1961 (as amended from time to time) read with Clause 12
(1) of the Statues of IIT Jodhpur the President of India, in her capacity as the
Visito-' of the Indian Institute of Technolory, Jodhpur is pleased to approve
the appointment of Prof. Avinash Kumar Aganral, Department of
Mechanical Engineering, IIT-Kanpur as the Director of IIT, Jodhpur. The
appointment shall be on contract for a period of five years with effect from the
date of assumption of charge of the post or till attaining the age of 70 years,
whichever is earlier, on a fixed pay of Rs. 2,25,000/- (Level 17 as per Th cpc)
per month, with usual allowances, in accordance with the terms and
conditions laid down in the Institutes of Technologr Act, 1961 (as amended
from time to time) and Statutes framed thereunder.
2. Formal acceptance of offer of appointment may be d to the
undersigned.
