Santo Domingo Dominican Republic: . – A woman reported this Thursday that the Gender Violence Prosecutor's Office does
not receive the complaint, nor does it provide her with a protection order because the alleged aggressor is allegedly close to
the government.

Stephanie de los Santos indicated that she has allegedly received abuse from her ex-partner José Cristóbal Callado and
when she went to seek protection, she details that she has not received a response.

At the Gender Violence office on Rómulo Betancourt Avenue, it was not possible to obtain a reaction to this complaint. The
woman accompanied by her lawyer demanded that the authorities ensure her physical integrity.
