Letter of Motivation

Today's competitive world demands highly vigorous and skillful talents. My enthusiasm to
achieve my goals made me diligently workout my plans in a detailed manner although my
career aspirations are not childhood dreams but rather a work of consistent gaining of
knowledge and learning about my interest domain. It was all about finding my interests
and the journey began from my fascination with electronic gadgets. Growing curiosity and
a normal affinity for science and especially physics and mathematics saw me opting for
Electrical Engineering for my under-graduation. It was the inception of my understanding
of the discipline which gradually grew into fervor in Mechatronics. Now, with the help of
graduation studies in the chosen discipline, I want to explore my ambition of contributing
to the Michatronics world.
Pursuing Electrical Engineering has been the wisest decision of my life for the subjects that
fell within the natural scope of things in my life. I was able to ingest the information and
similar implications of them. Along with good grades in subjects throughout my graduation,
I was correspondingly attentive towards Engineering Management. Due to this I got a
chance to work on a project at a techfest INDRA-9 at the G H Patel college of engineering
and technology campus and to learn as an intern in state government power distribution
company DGVCL(Dakshin Gujarat Vij Company LTD) at Surat, India. Moreover, the backend
semesters studies gave me much more perspectives of the technology.
Learning about System Engineering, I have decided that I would gain a better
understanding by pursuing masters in System engineering with Mechatronics majors and
becoming an expert within the field to make a career within a domain. My humble
beginnings provided me with a modest living amidst great faith for not just academic
excellence but extracurriculars also. From being the class representative to volunteering in
the different events, I have been there. And not just technical events but I have been part of
social activities, sports, festivals and art presentations also. And COVID-19 pandemic time
self studies gave me the glimpse of different cultures of the world. As the outcomes of this, I
have forged good leadership and management skills.
After my masters, I would like to work where I would be able to put together my fresh
academic knowledge. It gives me great satisfaction in applying my knowledge, which I have
learned until now, to develop further understanding and solving practical problems. This
field promises creative satisfaction and intellectual independence to me. I now seek to
further delve into the technical research and innovation division and bring myself to the
level of expertise in design verification and validation. As being the hub of technology I
have put a sight on courses in Deutschland. After tedious research work of filtering
institutes to fit my criteria and expectations, I have found that South Westphalia University
of Applied Sciences fits the best of my needs.
I strive to enrich my understanding level and gain the necessary skill set of the latest techs
in Mechatronics and Engineering Management. I am competent and confident for the same
and strongly believe that master’s at this juncture would give me the necessary push and
momentum that would hasten my steps towards my aspired career of an Expert.

your Institute is the perfect match for my career aspirations. I am dazzled by the extensive
curriculum and the excellent peer network the institute offers. More importantly, I am
particularly keen on ongoing research and look forward to learning. I am also quite excited
about the excellent infrastructure and Labs at the institute, which would assist me in my
longing to carry on my independent research. To recapitulate, I have the skill and the
aspirations and now seek the right platform to move towards my goals and your
