LETTER OF MOTIVATION

Today's competitive world demands highly vigorous and skillful talents. My enthusiasm to
achieve my goals made me diligently workout my plans in a detailed manner. Growing
curiosity and a normal affinity for science and especially physics and mathematics saw me
opting for Electrical Engineering for my under-graduation. Now, with the help of
graduation studies in the chosen discipline, I want to explore my ambition of contributing
to the Power Engineering in respect to the power grids..
Pursuing undergraduate with Electrical Engineering, I was able to ingest the information
and similar implications of them. Along with good grades in subjects throughout my
bachelor's, I was correspondingly attentive towards power systems. Due to this I got a
chance to work on an electronics project at a techfest INDRA-9 at the G H Patel college of
engineering and technology campus and also carry a project on composition of rubber
insulators. And I have earned industrial working experience at RAYSON Green Energies and
Dakshin Gujarat Vij Company LTD.
My humble beginnings provided me with a modest living amidst great faith for not just
academic excellence but also extracurriculars also. From being the Class Representative to
volunteering in the different events, I have been there. And not just technical events but I
have been part of social activities, sports, festivals and art presentations also. Moreover, the
backend semesters studies and COVID-19 pandemic time self studies gave me the glimpse
of different cultures of the world. As the outcomes of all this, I have forged good leadership
and management skills.
Now, after my masters I want to work in the field of power systems, where I can use my
knowledge to solve utilization and distribution related issues in the energy domain. As the
types of energy generation and consumptions are changing, individual techs, digitalization
of systems and management of load demands are becoming too important subjects of
research. Also the decentralization of distribution systems is occurring as renewable
energy technologies are getting installed and also with changes in urban and industrial
infrastructure, flexibilization of the power grid is becoming too important. So, I want to
look up in particular in power grid technologies as my future working field. because the
implementation of new e-mobility technologies will require effective solutions and there is
a larger scope of research in that field. for example, the energy conversion and supply
solutions for urban areas. and as renewable energy is the future of energy, the DC supply
systems implementation and in countries like India the digitalization of power grids
creates a big scope of study and research. I believe there is much to explore in energy
simulation and synchronization of renewable energy generation and consumption. As
being the hub of technology I have put a sight on courses in Deutschland. After tedious
research work of filtering institutes to fit my criteria and expectations, I have found
Technical University of Munich fits the best of my needs.
The Master’s Programme in Power Engineering offered by your University is the perfect
match for my career aspirations. More importantly, I am particularly keen on ongoing
research and development on renewables in relation to power grids and I am dazzled by
the extensive curriculum, excellent peer network, excellent infrastructure and Labs at the
institute, which would assist me in my longing to carry on my independent research. To
recapitulate, I have the skill and the aspirations and now seek the right platform to move
towards my goals and your prestigious institute provides me with the same.
