1. Introduction
Wi-fi Service was requested at Adwa-00 Project Site. As a solution, Access Points (AP)
should be placed in appropriate positions to maximize coverage. The APs would be connected to
nearest CSG site (113777). Management & user traffic from the AP’s will be tunneled via
Huawei-IPBH to Sidist_Kilo NE40 (111148_NE40E). The Management traffic will be tunneled
to Leghar PE via a L2 link, since Wireless LAN controller (WLC) at Leghar manages the AP’s
and the user traffic will terminate on Sidist_Kilo NE40. The APs are light Weight access points.

2. Service and Management IP Plan

Regarding DHCP deployment, the WLC acts as DHCP server for the APs, while Sidist_Kilo
NE40 act as a DHCP server for the Users. There is an IP pool already configured for Public Wi-
Fi Service on Sidist_Kilo NE40 (111148_NE40E). No need to create a new pool.

2.3 Service & management traffic flow

The AP management traffic terminates on the Wireless Access Controller at Legehar. The
user traffic goes to Sidist_Kilo NE40 via Huawei IPBH (CSG---RSG). VLAN 2230 is used for
Access Point management, 2651 for User traffic & Switch managment.
